We do not just plant trees — we plant trees that last. Right species, right place, right technique. Our focus is on establishing what we call century trees — long-lived, site-appropriate species that will be on your property for generations, not just a few seasons.
Species Selection
Every planting starts with a site evaluation. We assess soil type, sun exposure, root zone space, and your long-term goals before recommending a species. We favor native and adapted species that perform well in Central Ohio conditions and avoid problematic cultivars — including Bradford pear, which is now on Ohio’s invasive plants list. We plant container trees when possible, as they retain more of their root system and typically establish more successfully than balled-and-burlapped stock. Larger caliper specimens may require B&B depending on availability.
Optional 5-Year Care Plan and Warranty
For select trees, we offer an optional five-year care plan and warranty program as a paid add-on. The program includes follow-up fertilization treatments to support root development, a TreeDiaper slow-release watering system for consistent moisture during establishment, and scheduled arborist checkups. If a tree covered under the program does not make it due to a planting defect, we work with you to understand why and make it right. Ask about this option when requesting a planting quote.

Planting Timing
Early spring and late fall are the ideal planting windows in Central Ohio — cooler soil temperatures and seasonal moisture give new trees the best establishment conditions. Planting is possible at any time the ground is not frozen, provided watering is managed appropriately through the establishment period.
